Who We Are

This lay Ministry, organized in 2010, is located in Weslaco, Texas. The ministry seeks to transform the lives of God’s people in need of hope, healing and support by the proclamation of the Mercy of God, intercessory prayer, counseling consultation referrals, and parish assistance and support. This will also be accomplished by coordinating with parishes and establishing partnerships with other organizations, such as the McAllen Pregnancy Center and Real Men Pray the Rosary, McAllen Texas; with Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats, Brownsville, Texas; Good Shepherd Monastery of Starr County of South Texas.

The Fountain of Mercy Ministries, Inc. will focus on these four main areas of service and seek management and programming assistance through the recruitment of volunteers from a broad base of experience, expertise, education, and with a desire to assist. These four areas of service are:

1. Proclamation of the Mercy of God, implemented through major Divine Mercy Conferences, retreats, seminars, pilgrimages
2. Intercessory Prayer offered for priests, pro-life causes, the sick and dying, the poor souls in purgatory, Eucharistic adorers, the lonely and oppressed, and for those who have specific needs. Prayer warriors stay in continuous prayer for the success of the ministry in order to touch lives and help others.
3. Counseling, Consultation and Referral will be made available as needed.
4. Assistance and support of Rio Grande Valley parishes.
