10th Annual Divine Mercy Conference will be held at the Weslaco Performing Arts Center, 506 E. 6th Street in Weslaco, Texas, on February 22, 2020, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The speakers for the event are Fr. Christopher Alar, MIC and Fr. Jose Maniyangat.
Ticket Prices: Tickets $30 if purchased online until January 31, 2020. Ticket price $35 after Jan. 31 deadline. $40 if purchased at the door on the day of the conference.
Fr. Chris Alar, MIC
Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, is a priest with the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Fr. Chris wrote and produced the popular “Divine Mercy 101” DVD and is the author of the book “After Suicide: There’s Hope for Them and for You.” He is a regular host and guest on EWTN and he also hosts the online “Divine Mercy Matters” series at DivineMercyMatters.org. Currently he serves as “Fr. Joseph, MIC, the director of the Association of Marian Helpers, and is the head of Marian Press, located on the grounds of the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.
Fr. Jose Maniyangat
Father Jose Maniyangat is a world known speaker and is an instrument of healing. He was ordained in 1975 in the Diocese of Thiruvalla, India. In 1992 Fr. Jose came to the St. Augustine Diocese and worked for several parishes. He retired from active parish duties April 16, 2016 to be able to share the Ministry invested to him by God with people around the world.
As part of the conference, Fr. Jose Maniyangat will have a Eucharistic Healing Mass for spiritual, mental, and physical healing Fr. Jose has traveled to major cities of the United States and countries overseas to conduct Eucharistic Healing Services, retreats, and conferences. Many miraculous healings have occurred at these services through the healing power of Jesus Christ who is the Supreme Healer.
