John Michael Talbot is a Grammy-winning legend of what has become known as Contemporary Christian Music. He is recognized as one of Catholic music’s most popular artists with multi-platinum sales and compositions published in hymnals throughout the world.
His artistic and humanitarian efforts have been recognized with multiple awards including the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Gospel Music Association, Mercy Corps, the Mother Theresa Award and the Paul Harris Fellow–Rotary International. John Michael Talbot is one of the most active ministers traveling throughout the world inspiring and renewing the faith of Christians of all denominations through sacred music and inspired preaching. Like a modern St. Francis, John Michael Talbot’s ministry is bringing revival to God’s church, “one parish at a time, and renewing hearts one life at a time.

Also presenting at the conference will be Father Jeffrey Kirby. Father Kirby is currently the priest of Jesus Christ in the Catholic Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina. A national speaker with a Doctorate in Moral Theology and a fire for the Lord, Father Kirby is a globally published author of spiritual books and formation programs. Father Kirby is a friend to Catholic media and has been on EWTN, Catholic TV, and Salt and Light. He has also been on the BBC, NPR, and ABC to discuss various issues.

Bishop Daniel Flores from the diocese of Brownsville will be opening the conference. The 9th Annual Divine Mercy Conference will be held on February 23, 2018, at the Weslaco Performing Arts Center.
